What can I do to strengthen my immune system? How safe is this drug? Are there any experimental therapies that could reverse my chronic illness?
What kinds of biomedical research are underfunded and have strong potential for curing disease? What kinds of new technologies are close to being developed?
What does the science actually say? And how strong is the evidence?
I help people answer these questions by doing personalized literature reviews. I summarize and analyze the state of current knowledge, with an eye to finding practical options that patients can use to solve health problems, or donors and investors can use to assess funding opportunities.
I've been doing scientific consulting for three years as a freelancer, and for three years before that as the head of research at MetaMed, where our personalized medicine reports saved lives and discovered a novel genetic disorder.
You can see examples of my work on my blog. I strive to be as transparent as possible about what I do. There's a lot of information out there, and my job is just to assemble it and distill it into actionable conclusions.
(I am NOT a doctor, and my consulting is not a substitute for medical advice.)
